Privacy Policy

Dunya Lounge (“we,” “us”) runs dunyalounge.com. This policy explains what we collect when you use the site, why, and the choices you have.

Information You Give Us

• Contact form: your name, email address, phone number (optional) and message.
• Event and private dining inquiries: your name, email address, phone number, event type, preferred date, guest count and any details you add.
• Newsletter: your email address, the wording you agreed to and when you confirmed.

With each form we also keep the page you sent it from, your IP address and your browser type. We use these only to stop spam and repeated automated submissions.

Information Collected When You Browse

• Parking finder: if you open the Park button and allow it, your browser shares your location with our site so we can sort nearby parking by distance. We do not store it in our database. Parking options near the restaurant are looked up with Google Maps Platform.
• Maps: the contact page map and the parking map are provided by Google Maps. Google receives standard request data (such as your IP address) under Google's own privacy policy.
• Analytics: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies.
• Offline copy: the site can save pages in your browser so they open without a connection. This stays on your device.

How We Use It

• To answer your messages and plan events you ask about.
• To send the newsletter you signed up for.
• To keep the site secure and free of spam.
• To understand which pages help guests, so we can improve them.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for advertising.

Who Handles It for Us

• Our website server and database, where form messages and newsletter sign-ups are kept.
• Cloudflare, which delivers the site, forwards email sent to our addresses and will send our confirmation and reply emails once email sending is switched on.
• Google Maps Platform, for maps and the parking lookup described above.
• OpenTable (reservations) and Toast (online ordering): when you follow our Reserve or Order links, those services handle your booking or order under their own privacy policies.

Newsletter

We ask you to confirm your address before we send anything. Every email has a link to unsubscribe, and you can also ask us to remove you at any time.

How Long We Keep It

• Form messages: 24 months, or sooner if you ask us to delete them.
• Newsletter: while you are subscribed. After you unsubscribe we keep your address, its sign-up record and the date you left, so no one can put you back on the list without your confirmation. Sign-ups that are never confirmed are kept too. Ask us and we will delete any of these.
• Security records (sign-in and spam checks): kept only as long as needed for security.

Your Choices and California Privacy Rights

You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. California residents have these rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, and we will not treat you differently for using them. Children

The site is not directed to children under 13, and the hookah lounge is for guests 21 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Security

We protect the site with encryption in transit (HTTPS), limited staff access with two-step sign-in, and regular backups. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

We will post any changes on this page and update the date above.
